How to apply Service Marketplace ID

1.       Find out your SAP installation number.  To do this go into any SAP screen through the gui (i.e. not via the portal) and select  System – Status from the top menu.  The installation number can be found on the right hand side of the screen.

2.       Go to www.service.sap.com and click on the Registration link in the top right hand corner of the screen.

3.       On the Registration page enter your installation number, name and e-mail address.  You must use your company e-mail address as the domain name will be checked against the installation number to ensure that you are a valid customer/partner.

4.       Select the Submit button.  You will be sent an e-mail once your registration has been accepted.

Note: If you do not have an installation number, e.g. you are an independent contractor, you should contact the SAP Support Helpline to obtain a registration number.
